The maintenance procedures of pressure transmitters

Mar 19, 2025

1. Disconnect the power supply: Before performing any maintenance work, the first step is to disconnect the power supply to ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition to prevent accidental electric shock or equipment damage.

2. Cleaning and maintenance: Use a clean cloth or cotton swab to gently wipe the external surface of the pressure transmitter UPB9 to ensure that no dust or other impurities affect the normal operation of the device. Especially when used in dusty, humid or corrosive environments, it is more important to keep the equipment clean to avoid contamination or mechanical damage to the sensor diaphragm.

3. Checking connections: Periodically check the connection parts of the pressure transmitter UPB1, including wiring connections and seals, to ensure that the connections are firm and free of looseness, leakage or corrosion. If any looseness or damage is found, it should be tightened or replaced in time.

4. Calibration: The pressure transmitter should be calibrated periodically to ensure its measurement accuracy. According to the frequency of use and environmental conditions, it is recommended to carry out calibration once a year, especially after the equipment has not been used for a long time or the use of environmental changes should be calibrated.

5. Protective measures: For pressure transmitters working in harsh environments, protective measures should be taken, such as the installation of protective covers, waterproof housings etc., to avoid excessive temperature, humidity or chemical substances affecting the life of the equipment.
