The Parameters Needs to be Considered When Select A Level Transmitter

Apr 25, 2023

When selecting a level transmitter, the following parameters need to be considered:

1. Measuring range - this refers to the range of liquid level that the transmitter is capable of measuring accurately.
2. Output signal - the type of electrical signal that the level ULB6 transmitter produces, such as 4-20mA, HART, or MODBUS.
3. Accuracy - the degree to which the transmitter can measure the liquid level accurately.
4. Material of construction - the material used to construct the transmitter, which should be compatible with the liquid being measured.
5. Process connection - the type of connection used to mount the transmitter on the vessel or tank being measured.(Optional)
6. Environmental conditions - the conditions under which the level transmitter ULB16 will operate, such as temperature, pressure, and vibration.
7. Cable material and cable length- the cable material needs to be compatible with the measured media and the cable length is selected based on the measuring range.
