The matters we should know when use pressure transmitter

Media processing

>The diaphragm material in contact with the medium should be corrosion-resistant (e.g. 316L stainless steel, Hastelloy C).

>The temperature of the measured medium shall not exceed the limit of the pressure transmitter UPB9, iced medium will damage the diaphragm.

>Regular cleaning of the mounting holes and the pressure guide tube to prevent residue deposits affecting the measurement accuracy.

Maintenance and calibration

>Check the sealing to prevent leakage leading to corrosion or failure of the sensor.

>Take anti-freezing measures (e.g. adding insulation) in winter to avoid the expansion of iced liquid at the pressure relief port.

>Newly installed or long-term use of the pressure transmitter UPB7 need the calibration (recommended once every six months), calibration environment temperature should be stable (20 ℃ ± 5 ℃)

>Use of high-precision standard pressure source (such as 0.1% FS equipment) for calibration.

Environmental adaptability

>Temperature and humidity control: the working temperature should be within the limit of the transmitter, high-temperature environment with a heat sink, humid environments selected IP65 or higher protection level.

>Pressure conduit arrangement: installed in the area of small temperature fluctuations, to avoid thermal expansion and contraction affect the measurement results.
