What are the matters we need to pay attention to in the process of using pressure transmitter(1)?

Installation specification

1.Keep away from strong vibration sources, high temperature areas and electromagnetic interference equipment.

2. Measurement of liquid pressure, the pressure transmitter UPB1 should be lower than the pressure point to avoid the mixing of air bubbles; measurement of gas needs to be higher than the pressure point

3. For high temperature media (e.g. steam), a buffer tube, condenser or heat sink should be installed to prevent the sensor from overheating.

4. Use raw material tape or sealant to ensure that there is no leakage.

5. Outdoor installation with waterproof connectors to prevent rainwater infiltration leading to short circuit.

Electrical Safety

1. The power supply voltage should not exceed 36V to avoid burning the sensor of the pressure transmitter UPB2.

2. Use certified models and standardized grounding for explosion-proof scenarios.

3. Signal cable should be shielded and laid separately from the power cable.

4. Shielded cables should be reliably connected to the metal casing to enhance the anti-interference capability.‌‌
