Precautions for the pressure transmitter in daily use
Apr 16, 2025
(1) Do not apply voltage higher than 36V to the pressure transmitter, resulting in damage to the transmitter.
(2) Do not touch the diaphragm with hard objects, resulting in damage to the isolation diaphragm.
(3) The measured medium is not allowed to freeze, otherwise it will damage the isolation diaphragm or the sensor element, resulting in damage to the transmitter, and the pressure transmitter UPB13 needs to be temperature-protected against freezing if necessary.
(4) In the measurement of steam or other high-temperature media, the temperature should not exceed the limit temperature when the pressure transmitter is used. The heat dissipation devices must be used when the media temperature is higher than the limit temperature of the transmitter.
(5) When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, the heat sink should be used, so that the pressure transmitter UPB8 and the pipeline connected together, and use the pressure on the pipeline to the transformer, when the measured medium is water vapor, the heat sink should be filled with an appropriate amount of water to prevent overheating of the steam directly in contact with the transmitter, damage to the sensing element.
