Environmental Adaptation

Ensure the installation environment complies with flameproof requirements. Ambient temperature must be maintained between -40°C and 65°C, avoiding direct sunlight or high-temperature radiation sources. Position the explosion-proof pressure transmitter away from vibration sources; if significant environmental vibration or shock occurs, install vibration-damping pads. For instance, when installing near chemical reactors, select a location at least 3 meters from the agitator motor to minimize mechanical vibration impact on the transmitter.

Explosion-Proof Wiring

Power and signal cables must utilize explosion-proof types. Employ M20×1.5 threaded connectors for cabling, ensuring the gland nut is securely tightened to prevent medium ingress. Before wiring, disconnect the power supply. Verify absence of voltage using a multimeter, then connect the 24V DC power supply and 4-20mA signal lines according to the wiring diagram. Special note: The explosion-proof surfaces must not be knocked or scratched. After assembly, apply rust-preventative oil evenly and lock the housing screws.

Media Compatibility

Select diaphragm material based on the characteristics of the measured medium. 316L stainless steel diaphragms are suitable for most corrosive media, but Hastelloy diaphragms must be used in strong acid environments. Prior to installation the pressure transmitter, verify the mounting hole dimensions using a bore gauge. If deviations exceed 0.1mm, reaming is required to prevent thread wear and seal failure.
