What is the importance of pressure transmitter selection?

1. What kind of pressure medium?

The viscous liquid, mud of the pressure transmitter will plug the pressure interface, the solvents or corrosive substances will damage the material

of the  transmitter in direct contact with these media. These factors will determine whether to choose direct isolation membrane or specific materials.

2. How much the accuracy of the transmitter?

Many factors determine the accuracy, like non-linearity, hysteresis, non-repeatability, temperature, zero bias scale, the effect of temperature.

But mainly by non-linearity, hysteresis, non-repeatability, the higher the accuracy, the higher the price.

3. What temperature range of the transmitter it is?

Usually a silicon pressure transmitter will be calibrated with two temperature ranges, namely, the normal operating temperature range and compensated temperature range.

Normal operating temperature range is the temperature range when the transmitter is not destroyed under the working condition.

The compensated temperature range is a typical range that is smaller than the operating temperature range.Operating within this range,

the transmitter will certainly meet its intended performance specifications. Temperature variation affects its output in two ways: zero drift and full scale output.
