Precautions When Using A Differential Pressure Transmitter

Precautions when using our UPB5 differential pressure transmitter are as follows:
Do not apply a power supply higher than 36V to the transmitter to cause damage to the transmitter;
Do not touch the diaphragm;
Do not measure frozen measured medium, otherwise the sensor element isolation diaphragm will be damaged. If necessary, the transmitter should be temperature protected to prevent freezing;
When measuring steam or other high-temperature media:
a) the temperature should not exceed the limit temperature of the transmitter. When the temperature is higher than the limit temperature of the transmitter, a heat sink must be added;
b) a cooling pipe should be used to connect the transmitter and the pipeline, and use the pressure on the pipeline to transmit it to the transformer.
c) when the measured medium is water vapor, an appropriate amount of water should be injected into the cooling pipe to prevent the superheated steam from directly contacting the transmitter and damaging the sensor.
