Two Types of Pressure Transmitters

Common pressure transmitters are mainly divided into two types.

One is compact structure, which is often used in some automation equipment or production lines, usually with 4-20mA output signal (like our UPB1 silicon pressure transmitter); there are also pressure switches for similar purposes, with upper and lower limits alarm output signal (lilke our UPS2 electronic pressure switch).

The other is used more in chemical industry, it has larger volume, higher protection performance and anti-interference ability, and more types of output signals. For this kind of instrument, the most commonly used output signal is 4-20mA with HART communication protocol (like our UIB5 intelligent pressure transmitter with HART), and can carry out configuration adjustment and instrument control through HART.
