Before installation of our UPB9 industrial pressure transmitter, you need to select the pressure point.

You can find below key points of the selection of the pressure point of the pressure transmitter for your reference:

6. The end of the pressure source part should not exceed the inner wall of the process equipment and process piping. .
7. When measuring the pressure of turbid media such as dust, solid particles or sediment on the vertical process pipeline, the source part should be tilted upwards, and the angle with the horizontal line should be greater than 30 degrees. It is appropriate to install flow beams at acute angles on horizontal process piping.
8. The installation location of the pressure transmitter should be well-lit, easy to operate and maintain, and should not be installed in places subject to vibration, humidity, high temperature, corrosion, and strong magnetic field interference.
9. The installation position of the pressure transmitter should be as close as possible to the source part. The installation height of the low-pressure transmitter should be consistent with the height of the pressure extraction point, especially for liquid media and condensate gas media.
10. When measuring gas medium pressure, the installation position of the transmitter should be higher than the pressure extraction point. When measuring liquid or vapor pressure, the installation position of the transmitter should be lower than the pressure extraction point to reduce exhaust and liquid discharge additional facilities.
