Attention matters of Installation of UTOP submersible level sensor

 

It is very important to install the submersible level sensor. Any wrong operation will not get accurate measurement even damage the product. Now let us explain what matter should be paid attention to during install UTOP ULB6 submersible level sensor.

 

1. The probe of the level transmitter should be submersible inside the tank vertically and

touch the tank bottom. And also should be kept away from liquid inlet or outlet.

 

2. Please clean the probe after it is used for some time, in order to avoid any impurity to

block the probe.

 

3. When installation, please pay attention to not to lock the cable too tight or make the cable

have any bending.

 

4. The head of the transmitter should be installed vertically in the tank top, or the bracket

nearby, please ensure the sun protection and breathe freely, also the installation location

should be convenient for wiring and debugging.

 

5. If the submersible level transmitter is installed in static deep well or pool, generally need to

fix a steel pipe with inner diameter 45mm inside the deep well or pool, the steel pipe should

be opened many holes at different height so as the water can go inside the pipe freely. And

then put the sensor inside the steel pipe to realize the level measurement.

 

6. If there may be some deposition or sludge, or dreg in the tanks bottom, we suggest the

sensor probe should be kept a little distance from the tank bottom, so as to avoid the

sundries blocking the probe.

 

7. If the medium has big fluctuation, and the cable is very long, the probe should be fixed by

using suitable sleeve, so as to avoid the probe swing and effect the measuring precision.
