Maintenance Tips of Submersible Level Transmitters
Feb 22, 2023
Below you can find maintenance tips for submersible level transmitters:
1) Regular cleaning.
2) When cleaning, first open the screw cap of the iron pipe of the drop-in level transmitter, and carefully take out the level transmitter; then remove the debris attached to the level transmitter (such as aquatic plants, plankton, etc.).
3) When cleaning the pressure hole of the level transmitter, use trichlorethylene or alcohol to inject the pressure hole to half of its height and soak for about 5 minutes, then shake it slightly and repeat it several times until it is cleaned. It is forbidden to use any utensils to clean the pressure hole, so as not to damage the pressure diaphragm of the sensitive core.
4) When cleaning the pressure port and pressure hole of the transmitter, avoid using brushes or metal tools with excessive hardness to avoid damage to the sensitive core and the thread of the pressure port.
5) After cleaning, slowly put the level transmitter back into the iron pipe, feel that the lower part of the iron pipe has been placed, and install the screw cap back to the original position. After dismounting and cleaning, and reinstalling, because the installation depth will change to a certain extent, the detection value of the secondary instrument must be corrected again by referring to the level transmitter at the same water level of the sluice to ensure the correctness of the sampling data.
