Load Cells for Difficult Level Measurement Application

When you are selecting a level measurement device for a difficult application, for example an application with a very viscous resin and a powder catalyst being mixed in a vessel, load cells may be a good choice. 

The first consideration should be what sort of resolution and repeatability are you looking for?
If required resolution needs to be extremely tight, a load cell will probably be the best option here. Good ones have accuracy to within 0.03% of full range.
