How to Prevent the Pressure Sensor from Being Corroded?

Aug 23, 2022

Pressure sensors are very common equipment in the current industry. Since they are widely used, pressure sensors have been come into contact with many measurement media, such as generally corrosive and highly corrosive media. How to prevent the variable sensor from being corroded?

The pressure sensors produced now use stainless steel (304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, etc.) and stainless steel housing. This stainless steel material is already resistant to most corrosive media, and can basically monitor almost all media compatible with 316L.

When users buy pressure sensors like our UPB1 pressure transmitter, we need to know the measurement medium, so as to determine which structural material to choose according to the measurement medium, such as the wetted part and housing of 304 stainless steel and 316L stainless steel.

If we encounter strong corrosive media, we can also use better material for the diaphragm to isolate corrosion.
